RESOLUTION OF THE CADDO NATION OF OKLAHOMA FOR CERTIFICATION OF THE
ELECTION ORDINANCE OF THE CADDO NATION
WHEREAS: the Caddo Nation is a federally recognized tribe, governed by
a Constitution recognized by the United States Government and all of
its Governing bodies and agencies, and
WHEREAS: under the revised Caddo Nation Constitution, adopted by the
Caddo Tribe of Oklahoma on June 26, 1976, the Caddo Nation Council is
empowered to pass such ordinances and resolutions necessary or
incidental to the exercise of their powers, duties, and
responsibilities, and
WHEREAS: all tribal elections shall be conducted in accordance with an
election ordinance, enacted by the Caddo Nation Council, and
WHEREAS: the Caddo Nation Council has recognized this Election
Ordinance revised in 1995, bearing the names of Noah Frank,
Chairperson, and Anna Donaghey, Vice Chairperson, and continues to
recognize this Election Ordinance as the official Election Ordinance of
the Caddo Nation, now
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Caddo Nation hereby certifies that
this document supersedes all other election Ordinances in the event
that anything has been passed since 1995 until today, August 12, 2005.
