CADDO NATION CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The Caddo Nation Child Development Program, focus on preparing preschool children ages 3-5 years old and their families for success in school and beyond. Part of our curriculum includes introduction to and involvement in cultural awareness and appreciation. Thus, we hold our annual Children's Pow Wow to give the community an opportunity to come together to honor and celebrate culture and heritage with the children. We believe these children are the future and we must do what we can to ensure they are successful and well-prepared as they continue into higher levels of education.

School is in session. Here's a couple of reminders:

  • Watch for children entering and exiting school buses.
  • When a school bus is stopped to load or unload, obey the stop signs. Do not pass the bus.
  • Slow down in school zones.
  • After school lets out in the afternoon, many children walk home from school. Keep an eye out for them in our neighborhoods and on our streets.

For more information on getting your child enrolled in the Head Start Program at either the N'darko or Hasinai locations, please contact Stephanie Carr.
