The Caddo Nation Education Department will provide grants and scholarships to enrolled Caddo Tribal Members to afford them the opportunity to attend college and further their education.
HIGHER EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP (BIA)
Maximum amount of Award per semester/quarter:
- $0 - $1,000 Part time (6 to 11 hours)
- $0 - $2,000 Full time (12 or more hours)
Requirements:
- Caddo Nation Higher Education Grant Program Application
- Caddo Tribal Enrollment Card
- Letter of Intent/Goals Statement
- Letter of Acceptance from College/University
- Official High School transcript or GED Certificate and College Transcript (if prior college) Faxes/Copies or grades downloaded from the internet will not be accepted.
- Verification Enrollment form (included with application)
- Signed Privacy Statement
Financial need must be established through the University Financial Aid Office. The Financial Needs Analysis form must be completed, signed & submitted by the Financial Aid Officer (include with application)
Minimum Academic Requirements: (1) enroll in 12 hours and (2) earn a 2.0 Grade Point Average, which is a C-average. Although 12 hours is a minimum, students are encouraged to enroll in 15 - 17 hours per semester in their degree program as listed in their college catalog so they can complete their bachelor's degree in four-years.
Maximum Eligibility: 10 semesters or five (5) years.
