JOB PLACEMENT & TRAINING PROGRAM

The Job Placement and Training Program, provides supplemental subsistence allowance to eligible tribal members while they train to qualify for meaningful employment. The services offered are Job Placement and Job Training.

JOB PLACEMENT: Provides partial costs for expenses related to starting a new job.

JOB TRAINING: Can provide partial costs for tuition, books and fees (more of this cost is expected to come from other financial aid), or bi-weekly subsistence allowance payments for transportation, utilities, childcare, etc.

ELIGIBILITY:

For Both Programs: Applicants must be enrolled members of the Caddo Nation, 18 years of age or older, and reside within jurisdiction of the Anadarko Agency, which is within the following Oklahoma counties: Caddo, Kiowa, Comanche, Cotton, and Tillman.

Job Placement: Applicant must be unemployed or underemployed and not yet paid the first full paycheck.

Job Training: Applicant must demonstrate need for vocational training or skills upgrading, and must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. (FAFSA).

An applicant can receive only one repeat service.
