Re: Fort Cobb Representative

Article VIII-Filling Vacancies (Sect. 2) if a vacancy occurs in the office of Vice-Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer or Council District Representative the vacancy will be filled by the Tribal Council within sixty (60) days. The Appointee will serve until the next regurlar annual election of the Tribe. Appointee must meet the same qualifications for office as candidates in accordance with (Article IV, Sect. 4).

Due to a death in that position, Tribal Council appointed Robert McLemore as Fort Cobb Representative, until the next regular annual election to be held in July 2009. This decision is in accordance with the Caddo Nation 2002 revised Constitution and By-Laws. Election Board Ordinance revised 2008. Our decision is final.

In regards to: Norman polling site.

Notice:for all Caddo Oklahoma City Registered Voters, as you may know due to Oklahoma City Voters expanding through out the Oklahoma City area, we the Election Board members have added Norman as a new polling place. Location for this polling site is Norman First American United Methodist Church:  1950 Beaumont Street Norman, OK 73071. We the Election Board are asking all Registered Voters to update their current address or name change with us before the up coming Election in 2009. Election Board Office is open Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Our office phone number is (405)-656-2208) fax number same as office.
