The Hasinai Summer Youth Camp was held at the Caddo Nation Complex in Binger, Oklahoma. The camp is free to participate. Tribal elders and community members instructed the children Caddo songs, Caddo dances, stomp dances, traditional games, crafts, and traditional cooking. The Caddo Nation Injury Prevention Program director, Toni Short invited Mr. Martin from the "Kids Fire Safety" and Fireman Fred Trescotto, to do a presentation; the Caddo County Trooper Landkister spoke on Drugs/Alcohol and the use of seat belts. Yvette Goodeagle, ADAP director with the Caddo Nation invited Mr. Rick Pickens, Program Director CASA, speak on "Meth", how it effects individuals and communities.
