During the summer the Hasinai Head Start invited the Culture Club to come and share their songs and dances with their students. Mr. Mike Meeks, Drum Group Leader, invited some of the boys to come and set at the drum with them. He explained each dance before they sang and encouraged the students to participate. The Culture Club Jr. Princess, Maxine Watan lead each dance.

On June 20 - 21, 2008 the Culture Club held their annual dance. Along with the turkey dance, the social dances and stomp dances, the Club had turtle races, a domino tournament and other activities which included The Thurman "Sonny" Parton Bow Shoot. The bow shoot was named after an outstanding man and bow shooter who always worked hard at preserving our Caddo heritage. This is a way to honor him by naming the Bow Shoot after him for his dedication in keeping our songs, dances, bow shoot and our culture alive. The bow shooters shot for grocery items using either a "Traditional" or a "Compound" bow. The winner this year was Tim Nestell from Anadarko, Oklahoma.
