Hasinai Society 2007
Some people never take a break, and the members of the Hasinai Society are perfect examples of this. At a time when the summer pow-wow season is winding down in Oklahoma, this group has been busier than ever. After hosting a honor dance for their incoming Princess for the year 2007-2009, the Society has maintained a full schedule. The Hasinai Society traveled to the 49th Annual Caddo Conference in Magnaolia, Arkansas at Southern Arkansas University on March 15 - 18, 2007. The Society enjoyed participating in the Caddo dances. Besides participating in numerous dances they have also been invited to schools. Cement Public Schools invited them to show case their dancing ability. Mr. Sovo, Business Manager explained each dance they were going to do. The children watched eargerly and were very excited to participated in some of the dances.
