The Caddo Nation has vacancies on our Tribal Council and boards; we would like to fill the following positions:
Treasurer for the Tribal Council effective until the 2013 Election
These positions must be filled within 60 days, before 3/21. All members of the Caddo Nation who will have reached the age of twenty-one (21) years or over shall be eligible to be appointed to position on the Tribal Council except those persons convicted in a court of felony, within two (2) years immediately preceding the Appointment or when in office or any Caddo Member who is indebted delinquently to the Caddo Nation in excess of two (2) years. Candidates for positions of Tribal Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer must be residents of Southwestern Oklahoma which is defined as all counties touched by a sixty-five (65)mile radius whose beginning point is Anadarko, Oklahoma. Residency within the prescribed area must be maintained during the tenure in office by District Representatives and officers. (Constitution and Bylaws, Section 4, Article IV-Governing Body)
The Caddo Nation is needing to fill the Election Board of the Caddo Nation. The Election Board shall be appointed by the Tribal Council, subject to the approval of the Membership as provided in Article V, Section I, (A) of the Constitution.
Qualifications of Candidates: All members of the Caddo Nation who will have reached the age of thirty-five (35) years by the date of the appointment shall be eligible to become candidates for appointment to membership on the Hearing Board, provided that no tribal member may serve at the same time as a members of the Hearing Board and as a member of either the Tribal Council or the Election Board. These appointments will be effective until the next general election (2013).

CADDO NATION CULTURAL CENTER POLICY
In order to use the Cultural Building or Community Building and/or Dance Grounds, you must fill out the Use and Liability Agreement form which can be obtained from the Caddo Nation Receptionist. Please Note: A deposit fee of $100.00 is needed to use the Cultural Building, $50.00 will be returned if the building and grounds are left cleaned. Click here to download a form.
